Today, 31 October, BABLE Smart Cities celebrates World Cities Day by highlighting six of the main cities committed to a more sustainable future, by raising awareness regarding global urbanisation and urban development.

In addition to being valued community members, many of these exceptional municipalities have done projects directly with BABLE.

We encourage everyone to learn about the city’s history, issues that society is facing nowadays, and solutions that communities are developing.

“The more successfully a city mingles everyday diversity of uses and users in its everyday streets, the more successfully, casually (and economically) its people thereby enliven and support well-located parks that can thus give back grace and delight to their neighborhoods instead of vacuity.” — Jane Jacobs
